Summary
The emotions, the guilt, the uncertainty that he was feeling all tied up in his guts. Law didn’t really have feelings like this often enough to place an actual name to them, but he isn’t that stupid. He’d intentionally shut those sorts of feelings down long ago on a snowy island in the North Blue and hadn’t let anyone get close enough to him to poke open the wounds the world had given him. Typically, if asked why, he blamed the fact that he didn’t have time, didn’t have the energy to devote towards anything like this because his life had been a series of plans leading up to Doflamingo’s downfall and there was no time or space for anything else. But here he is, thrust headfirst into it by this rubber idiot he allied with on the heels of being centimeters from a panic attack and dammit if Law isn't looking at Luffy like he's the actual sun.
Or…
Law gets traumatized by the Straw Hats and his own feelings in his awkward attempt to apologize when he doesn't even need to.

Summary
Punk Hazard had a lot of really fun things but Luffy’s favorite thing of all walked out of a snowstorm looking like some fluffy and spotted god of misfortune. He's darkness and treasure wrapped all in one and Luffy's always been known to be greedy. But when he sees what lies beneath all of that he can’t seem to help himself from elbowing his way in to take a look at what Law’s thinking and what’s hurting him, confusing himself in the process.

Summary
Really, he loves Law so much it makes him warm from the inside out and now that he realizes that he does everything makes more sense. Which is why it startles him just a bit when a dark spot enters into that warm glow and chars at him like an ember. Slowly he pulls back and looks at Law’s softening expression and sighs sadly.
“Who told you that you weren’t normal?” The reaction was exactly what he expected, every wall Law uses to guard himself regularly slams back up in his way and Luffy can almost feel his heart breaking for him. In a mirror of what Law had done for him earlier he reaches up and cups both his cheeks with his palms. “Seriously?"
Or...
Luffy's abruptness leaves Law trying to unknot his emotions once again.
