When he awoke, he felt gentle lips touching his forehead. Someone was holding his hand, a thumb caressing his skin.

Summary
Eventually, he must have sunk into a fitful slumber. When he awoke, he felt soft lips touching his forehead. Someone was holding his hand, a thumb gently stroking his skin.
He opened his eyes and froze in shock as a pair of sparkling golden irises hypnotised him, while the rest of the room appeared to be pitch black.
He tried to scream, but no sound came from his throat. He reached out to the Force to summon his lightsaber, but the Force refused to obey him. A black-gloved finger was placed on his lips.

He tried to block out the scarred face, this sulfur-yellow eye that had glowered at him both hatefully and hopelessly disillusioned on that desolate, barren moon. He failed to banish these impressions from his mind. His image still haunted him, like the Sith Lord himself. It would not stop until the bitter end.
