Anakin was visiting him again. The sun-kissed young man visited Obi-Wan often, to help him fix his vaporator, to drive the both of them into Anchorhead at the same time to save on speeder fuel, to spend a sunset staring out at the Wastes together while sharing a pot of chilled tea. This time, Anakin had brought him a comb for his beard, a sort of comfort Obi-Wan had not had in several years.
Not since… Obi-Wan lost everything.
“Obi-Wan,” Anakin said, kneeling down by Obi-Wan’s sitting mat. He held the comb in his hand—carved from the wood of one of the few scraggly breeds of tree which grew on this desert planet. “May I comb your beard for you?”(Anakin wants to fuck Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan doesn't think he should, but he gets convinced into it anyway.)

Anakin walked over to the doorway quietly on his feet to try to hear what they were saying.
“...each time you do it is going to cost you, Obi-Wan. You’re too old to be making these kinds of mistakes. I won’t tolerate it. How do you think it makes me look to have a padawan incapable of fulfilling the most rudimentary expectations of being a Jedi?”

The enclosed area of his garage was silent, but every once in a while he heard the sound of a car rolling by in the street. It was a hot summer afternoon and most people with sense were already indoors in air conditioning. Maybe he’d give it one or two more hours, then he’d wave the metaphorical white flag and pick up where he left off tomorrow.

Before Obi-Wan could react, Anakin had leapt back onto the platform, pushing him into the shadowed safety the speeder bus offered, hiding them from prying eyes.
Anakin crowded him against the reinforced durasteel paneling, his hands cradled Obi-Wan’s face with surprising gentleness for someone so reckless. And in those beautiful steel blue eyes was that same mischievous spark, it was one Obi-Wan had seen so many times before, usually right before Anakin would ignore a direct order and did things his own way, back when things were simple … when lines hadn’t yet been crossed.
“N-No, Anakin, wait! Not here.” Obi-Wan stammered, a nervous blush spreading across his face as his hands scrambled at Anakin’s chest, trying to put some respectful distance between them.
“Yes here.” Anakin whispered, his voice low and firm, his face inches away from Obi-Wan’s.
There was barely a pause before Anakin closed the distance, his lips pressing against Obi-Wan’s with a desperation he didn’t try to hide.
Obi-Wan's body reacted instantly–his body surrendering against the pull of a bond they were never meant to have.
