Summary
It was not their first mission together since he had returned to earth, nor was it the most dangerous one until now. It was just the messiest, most tiring one; from the corner of his eye, he could see that even Garnet wasn’t holding herself the same way she always did- she looked more worn out, drained from all energy.
He then looked at himself, how dirty he was, how his shirt clung to his chest making him cringe with every movement. A sigh left his mouth, and he just thought about how bad he needed a bath. A ‘right-now’ kind of bad.
