Diluc looked up at the clear sky, the sun shining a dazzling gold across the land as he fell towards the ocean. For the first time in five years, he felt alive. He felt like he could finally breathe. He was free. For the first time in so long he was free.
Which was ironic, since he was currently plummeting to his death.
Or:
Diluc attempts to sewer slide but Venti saves him at the last moment, leaving him to Kaeya to take care of him. Nothing could wrong, right?

Summary

During their stay in Liyue, a powerful figure from Diluc's past comes back for revenge, and Kaeya gets caught in the crossfire.
There is nothing Diluc wouldn't do to keep his brother safe.
