Vecna could return; Steve imagines it everywhere. In the shower, he envisions it crawling out of a drain, ravenous tendrils latching onto his throat and squeezing so tight across the scar, pulling tight and vicious enough that his head lops clean off. Steve wonders if that would be the worst way to be found, for him. Naked, decapitated and with a soggy, lackluster mop of strands. At least let him go out with astonishingly put together hair.
