Summary
Being dead was horrible. Being revived and in debt was not worse but it was still terrible. However when he was offered a deal of a lifetime (pun intended) by the Lady Bone Demon and her thrall, he couldn’t afford not to take it. What did he even have left to lose? So he accepted the deal, but there was no time for rest as he was immediately tasked to join the thrall on a quest to retrieve a key. A key which would free the imprisoned Bone Demon.
They were not exactly keen on having to work with the shadow demon. Yet they had direct orders from their lady to take the simian with them. Sometimes her choices were not for them to understand, but they all had a purpose they trusted in. Though, their ‘friendly socialising’ skills were not as good as they thought they were, as it was proving to be very difficult to get along with Macaque. Perhaps if they tried hard enough, they could make this work.
In other words, Macaque and the Chief are tasked to work together to find the skeleton key to free LBD. This is a selection of their silly misadventures in the form of many events formulated into a 5 chapter timeline.

Summary
Freedom was certainly as sweet as what Macaque thought it would be. He could finally bathe in the warm sun again, feast on the sweet juices of fresh fruits without a care in the world. But he does not. Because despite having the choice of doing whatever he wants now, he is not quite sure what exactly he even wants to do. Freedom is bliss, but he is not used to being the only one to decide what he wants to do with it.
Although they had failed their mission before, they were not going to fail it again. They had a job to do, and that was to obtain the key and free their lady. They had promised her that they would get it, and they were not going to back out on that now. They could not. They lived to serve and to serve they shall. This is their destiny, and they are going to do whatever is necessary to fulfil it.
Aka, this is what Macaque and Chief/Mayor has been up to after the Quest for the Skeleton Key and before the LMK series! So to everyone who has been waiting, I hope you have found this and enjoy! If you haven’t read the first part of this series (The Quest For The Skeleton Key) then please go read it! There’s quite a few references to that fic so it will just help you in the long run.

Summary
For as long as Macaque has existed, he had been looking for trouble as much as trouble had been looking for him. An endless cycle of wanting the thrill of feeling something, and the ache of feeling too much. Right now? Maybe he had asked for too much. Things were escalating far too quickly, and all he can really do is let the current of time take him.
Everything they had been doing before has been leading to these moments. The end of the world. The final destination. Destiny was at hand and they simply could not wait for the final move to be made. Yet of course, some more things had to be done before the sweet finale. They have already done so much, they will not hesitate to do more.
In other words, it's Macaque and the Mayor’s journey throughout the LMK seasons 1-3! This is the third part of my series ‘Blue and Violet’. If you haven’t read the first two fics (‘The Quest for the Skeleton Key’ and ‘Interlude’), then please read it! Summary
He has spent a long time wasting his second life, making mistake after mistake and running away from it all. One could almost assume it's because he was so afraid of caring for anything, only to still mess up. But now that he is finally free… how is he supposed to know what to do with this second chance? He needs to decide if he wants to keep running away, aimlessly wandering, or finally do something different.
Knowing they have spent their entire everything dedicated to someone, it is hard to find what remains when they are left alone. Grief is a natural part of life, one they had never thought they would have to experience. They were never really alive in the first place… right? Perhaps they have never seen the full picture regarding that to begin with. Now that their everything is gone, what are they supposed to do with what somehow remains?
In other words, this is the story of Macaque's and the Mayor's lives post season three! This is all set in between the time span of one year between season 3 and 4. This is the fourth part to the series of Blue and Violet, so make sure you read the other three parts before reading this one

Summary
Coming up with an idea on what to do with the rest of your life isn’t easy. Spending time with people isn't much of a ‘rest of your life’ plan, because he doesn’t like doing it. Speaking from experience, ‘getting close’ leads to attachment (which obviously ends in heartbreak). But after connecting with a few certain people after being alone for so long, it left him feeling more lonely than he ever has before. Distancing from his old relationships hasn’t worked out in the past, so new approach is in order.
They have only just remembered what it means to be ‘something’ after being nothing for so long. What does being an individual mean? Being ‘themselves’ seems so... lonely. They ought to have a new purpose but where does one begin? People look inwards to themselves for this sort of thing, to study their feelings, and find a way to move forward from there. But what are they supposed to do when their own real feelings have been detached from them for so long?
Aka, Macaque and Mayor’s journey together! This is the fifth part of ‘Blue and Violet’, so make sure you read the previous parts before this one! To all of you who have been waiting and to the newcomers, enjoy!!!
