Kimberly was giving her a nervous smile. “Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to, I don’t know, get a pre-training meal? My treat.”
Trini opened her mouth to decline, to tell her that she had plans. But she remembered her parents, and how they wanted her to have a normal life. Wanted her to be teen, which was why they did what they did. Why she had to go through what she did.
Trini looked up at Kimberly, giving her a half smile, “As long as you’re paying.”
Kimberly beamed at her, giving her a nod. “Great, I’ll meet you at your locker after school.”
The shorter girl hummed her response. She watched the pink ranger walk out of the class, before following her out, a small smile on her face.

Her lungs were begging for oxygen. Deciding that she was there enough, she started to swim upward. But it wasn’t until she decided to do that, that she realized she had swam too far. The thought that she wouldn’t reach the surface, caused some fear. But she kept swimming, hoping her powers didn’t fail her.
Her vision was slowly darkening, but she kept swimming. She instinctively inhaled, and she felt the water fill her lungs. She couldn’t breath, but she kept trying, more water entering her lungs. As her vision darkened, she saw a figure in the distance.

Trini coughed on the ground. Her body was in pain, throbbing. Her vision was blurry, her helmet cracked. She looked over to see Jason and Zack fighting against Tommy. Kimberly was shooting her arrows at Rita, and Billy was on the ground, trying to catch his breath.
Trini pushed herself up, knowing she couldn’t stay down. She got to her feet, her body begging her stay down. She stumbled, before grabbing her daggers. She charged at Rita, catching the woman. Rita stumbled, blood on her cheek from where the dagger made contact.

Trini didn’t dress like her mother wanted. She didn’t talk like how her mother wanted. She was everything her mother hated. She was becoming someone her mother could hate, and just that thought alone made her scared of disappointing her mother.
