stealing the idea of writing this out from here, below is a short, non-exhaustive list of things that inspires parts of this series:
- SOMA (game) by Frictional Games. There are a few references to it. The idea of "losing time" (to phrase it kind of badly) was also taken from here.
- Rain World (game) by Videocult. Things that have to do with the mix of mechanical and organic parts likely draws from here.
- The Murderbot Diaries (books) by Martha Wells. The idea of feeds was taken from here, after a friend told me about them. (...I am still on the first book.)
