Summary
“I was going to demand that you tell me what you did back there,” Alastor says, as though he’s talking about the damn weather, “but I suppose I know now, hm?”
Lucifer’s mouth opens and closes a few times, wondering how to respond before he settles on, “In my defense, I had no idea that this would be the result.”
Alastor raises a brow. “Then what did you think would happen?”
“I thought I would just pull the energy out so you could heal naturally,” Lucifer admits.
The sinner clicks his tongue. “Alright, then,” he says, “Where do you keep your medical supplies?”
--
Alastor is injured after the Extermination. Lucifer tries to help. It goes about as well as one would expect.

Summary
“Did it hurt, Your Majesty?”
“Excuse me?”
“Did it hurt?” Alastor repeats, leaning closer with a leer.
“Did what hurt?” Lucifer replies, thoroughly perplexed. He tries to remember if he’d done anything that might be considered painful, recently.
Alastor’s grin turns mean—sinister, even, as his voice crackles with static. “Why, when you fell from Heaven, of course!”
—
Alastor gets cocky about harassing Lucifer, flies a little too close to the sun, and they both learn some things about themselves.

Summary
Lucifer’s wings itch.
They’ve been itchy for weeks at this point, honestly. He knows without having to pull them from the little pocket dimension they exist in when he doesn’t have them out that it means he’s molting.
It also means that he really needs to preen them—he just hasn’t really found the time and energy, yet.
—
Lucifer is molting, but he’s too depressed and exhausted to do the necessary preening. That’s what the Radio Demon is for.

Summary
“Your Majesty,” a familiar voice breaks him from his thoughts, radio static lacing his words, “Are you paying attention?”
“Uh,” he says, intelligently, “I—yes, of course I’m paying attention!” He gives a confident laugh, as though the mere thought that he would zone out in the middle of Alastor’s explanation is absurd.
Alastor raises a brow, his eye twitching irritably. “Oh?” he says, “Well, if you were paying attention, would care to tell me what I said about Carmilla’s daughters?”
Lucifer’s face flushes as he tries to come up with a single fact that Alastor had told him.
“…There’s two of them?” he offers, sheepish.
—
Lucifer tries to step into a more active role as the King of Hell—with Alastor’s assistance, that is.
It goes about as well as one would expect.
