“I – um – was wondering if you had plans for Christmas?” Sharp blinked at the rather personal question.
“Not particularly,” he dragged the words out, curious where the line of questioning was going.
“Good,” said James, before immediately flushing red, “I mean – obviously not good – not that there’s anything wrong with – ” The fifteen year stopped abruptly and actually cursed under his breath before starting over. “Would you,” he spoke the words slowly and intentionally, “like to spend Christmas with us?” Aesop couldn't help but raise his eyebrows. “Me and Professor Fig,” the teen tacked on unnecessarily.

Summary
James continues to be pulled deeper into the wizarding world, which wouldn’t be so annoying if it stopped coming after him or his important people.
Many of his friends are facing their own dangers this year and he will not tolerate it. Meanwhile, Fig and Sharp do their best to keep James out of trouble and not antagonise any more dark wizards. It goes about as well as you’d expect.
