Cater Diamond had a unique sort of signature spell. Or, well, maybe that was a bit egotistical. While most people’s unique magic were centered around them, giving off a bit of who they really are, Cater was made around his spell.
...
In that way, Cater developed a natural way to make it seem normal for constant photo-taking. Constant, because of being put in dangerous situations again and again made him paranoid, and it temporarily soothed his worries to know that he had a photo of them that he could use if needed. The fresher the photo though, the more powerful it was.
Tagging it helped him remember and make certain photos stand out from others. Like hashtags on a social media post. (Photos posted on social media didn’t work though).
So in the end, Cater just made it his life. Made himself friendly and approachable, known as the social media guy. It just made things easier.

Suddenly there was a light, as if hearing his unspoken plea. The ring father had given him..
“Father, give me strength,” He whispered, clutching it tight.
“To those I have met, and those I have not, let’s Meet in a Dream.”

Silver opened his eyes, raising himself up from his bed, and glancing around. A few hours before his alarm would go off....Wait.
He was in his room..?
Was he in a dream?
The sophomore exhaled. He wasn’t.
But..
He clenched his fists, before dashing out of his room. The lounge was.. empty. No vines, no sleeping students nor staff. ..It was.. normal.
As if he was the only odd one out. ..Was this a dream then? But he couldn’t use his signature spell. But..
Black and magenta hair appeared in his vision. Hovering upside down was–
“Father!”
Lilia tilted his head, “Good morning, Silver. What’re you doing up so early? Bad dream, perhaps? If you're still worried about Malleus, he’s perfectly fine.”
What?
“Uh..”
Suddenly a door slammed open, and out rushed a green blur.
“Sebek–!” “Silver! Explain to me what–”
The freshman’s voice faltered at seeing Lilia.

He walked over to the bathroom, giving a passing glance in the mirror, and– His steps faltered. Blue-ish purple eyes fixated on blonde strands of hair, in between the light gray.
Blonde? Silver turned to stare directly at his reflection, tilting his head, and putting his hand in his hair to see. He hadn’t been seeing things.
The teenager would have described it as roots growing in dyed hair, except for the fact that for the longest time, he only remembered having silver hair.

He shifted a little. “As a part of my hair has recently turned white, I wanted to know if there was anything more I should do for it, or if what I do already is fine.”

Sometimes, Cater had the vague idea of his old home. A childhood home, one might think. A place he lived in when he was younger.
He didn’t remember where it was now, and at that point his family had moved to so many different places he hadn’t been sure how to put it into words to ask, and then at that point did it really matter where he used to live? Where he might’ve been born?
The junior is sure it has to do with his dad. His biological one. He knew he used to live with his dad, but then he’d passed away, so he’d moved to his mom’s.
Since then his mom had married someone else and along came his step-sisters. He didn’t think they were too bad, just very.. Overbearing.
His mom didn’t like to talk about it so Cater didn’t know too much of the details.
