There was a prophecy. About the creator of this world and its destroyer.

Many thousands of years ago, before the heavenly demons fell and the cultivation world even existed, before mortals inhabited the land and all kinds of beasts tried to feed off them, there was a single god in Heaven. People call him the Creator.

The Creator crafted this entire world with his bare hands. Starting from the Luo river and continuing with the northern demon realm, he crafted the entire world and all its inhabitants, before sitting back on his celestial throne and overseeing his creation. He saw the single line of fate after that and noticed something, however: this world would be destroyed.

Someone from the ancient line of heavenly demons, which didn’t exist at the time this prophecy was recorded, would eventually rise to power and merge the realms using a sword that had not been forged yet, so its name can only be speculated. This Destroyer would be born near the Luo river and would start conquering the world through the northern demon realm, their life being a mockery of the journey the Creator had made.
