Lieutenant Harry Kim answered, looking to be about half out of uniform, jacket partially undone. "Hey," he said, seeming to hold back a yawn.
The concept of timezones, of planet-side time not matching up with ship standard, had temporarily escaped Tom. Tom wasn't used to being on a planet any more; dirt-bound in the family home. In theory, he could come and go as he pleased. In practice, he had somewhere to hide away.
