Summary
Stiles Stilinski has just been created a magician, like his mother before him and her father before her, but now he's a little bit at loose ends. So at the suggestion of his mentor Deaton, he takes a position with a very young alpha werewolf, Derek Hale, to protect his pack while he heads into the city in search of a mate. That the stern Derek would be displeased by Stiles's unorthodox methods (wolves training with hunters? unheard of!) is to be expected. That Derek would start looking a little closer to home for his mate is more of a surprise.
