After a moment, he continued with a stern expression. “I’ve been receiving complaints from the county court about the conduct of some of our attorneys, and their… use of intimidation during trials, bordering on violence.”
Everyone else in the room let out a collective groan. “Not this again!” Someone cried out.
“Yes, this again! This should have been settled after the last incident with Mr. Godot and the coffee… projectiles! You, sir, nearly lost your badge for it!” Edgeworth exclaimed, pointing at the older lawyer.
Seated at the back of the room, for his part Godot crossed his arms in a show of practiced casualness. “I’d do it again. That Trite was getting on my nerves with what he did.”
