2:04AM. Wesker watches as the computer's clock ticks over to the next minute. He stares at it for a moment before moving his eyes back to the documents pulled up on the screen. The progenitor virus all but eliminated his need for sleep, but his eyes are still experiencing the burning he became so accustomed to during his sleepless nights while at STARS. He closes them for just a moment, and his thoughts drift to the bed down the hall and the slim figure currently occupying it. Or perhaps not, because almost on queue, the door behind him opens, and Wesker's eyes open with it.

Little do they know he's already there himself, tying off one final loose end. But there's a fourth character in this story. One who waits in the shadows until he has no choice but to move. An enemy or an old friend? Only memories of the past will tell.
Edit: On pause for now, I just haven't had the inspiration to continue. I plan to return eventually but I have no idea when.
