Being born from a clan where folk would always turn a blind eye to you, conquering your fate and turning yourself into someone to be proud of. Your family, the Kaza clan, was known to practice fuinjutsu heavily and instead of making contracts with beasts for summons would seal them into people. Sort of like the tailed beasts but not, as they aren’t inherently as strong. But it brought a lot of shame, a lot of distrust for you that you will grow from.
Starting from the age 6 this fic will span to boruto where you’ll be in your thirties. It’s a reworking of the first ever fanfiction I wrote but seven years later! Different plot points but the clan is the same,, though I’ve reworked them into something more!

Itachi, by all means isnt the most present person in his house, being an ANBU member tends to take away ones freedom and a bunch of other things alike, but even if as of late he's been spending more time miles away from home under the dazzling stars surrounded by the thick foliage of the dense forest than under the ceiling of his own house it would be truly stupid to miss the rather drastic personality changes of the most important person in his life that seem to have happened in the matter of only a few hours, and Itachi is by no means stupid. For all the self loathing and his nonexistent confidence he would be lying to no one by calling himself anything short of generational genius, and like any good genius Itachi can pinpoint exactly when Sasuke stopped acting like his dearly beloved younger brother and adopted a personality more befitting for a man who has lived through the apocallipse and came out more broken and lost than content, Itachi is by no means a social person and even though he'll never admit it out loud he can at least admit it in the safety of his own tidy mind, but he is starting to consider the possiblity of being a social buttefly, seeing as Sasuke now seems more eager to commit treason than to socialize

He woke up with a scream lodged in his throat, unable to see anything around him through the blood that clouded his eyes and coated his cheeks. Fear was familiar, something he could work through, so he leaned to his right and felt for the switch on the bedside lamp. The light did nothing to help him when everything was distorted by the blood in his eyes, so he had to feel his way along the wall, taking careful steps that still left him feeling like a stumbling wreck. The bathroom door was open, welcoming him into the start of his morning routine, even though it was three in the morning and he felt like death. His right hand slapped the wall beside the door and he wrinkled his nose when his wet palm slid across the slate tile before connecting with the light switch. Blood. Of course there was blood on his hand.
The ethereal quality of the dream had vanished the moment he saw the rinne sharingan that dragged him right back to the civil war and reintroduced all of the darkness he’d worked so hard to keep from flooding back into his life.

Except Team Ro didn't plan to come back to the past. They didn't have any concrete idea of what to fix. Most of them don't even think they have the jurisdiction to make such changes.
But now, in the Warring States Period, they must do something. Because if everything they do has an effect anyway, might as well go down swinging. -
