Summary
Galgo Helder is at the end of his rope. Broke and bitter, he turns to a mysterious game that promises wealth beyond what he so desperately needs to even get by. With the promise of a fresh start luring him to certain death in a sink or swim nightmare, he resolves himself to his selfishness. No one matters, but him.
That is, until he runs into a few new faces along the way, that suddenly remind Galgo that what it means to live, is to have something to live for.

Summary
Political intrigue and interpersonal relationships have a wonderful time together as a Yautja Prince tries to court a gruff, grumpy, human Knight who was only there to protect the Princess that was supposed to be married off in the first place.
With political interests riding on that union, Galgo is given little choice but to go along with it. Pretending to fall in love can't be that hard, right?
That is, until it actually happens.
Too bad nothing good ever stays good when it comes to Galgo Helder.
