Summary
20 years ago in a desperate attempt to escape the farmhouse in which the 15 year old Gabi Mosely was imprisoned alongside the 7 year old Bella Quinn, Gabi Mosely would strike her kidnapper, Hugh "Sir" Evans in the head with a cast iron skillet.
She didn't mean to kill him. But by the time the police arrived his body was already cold. Acting in obvious self defense, Gabi was acquitted immediately. She would move on. Heal. Live her life in peace knowing the man who had imprisoned her was no more.
Until one night 20 years later, half a bottle down and grieving her recently deceased father, Gabi hears something in the basement. A window broken. A boy (A man? No, a boy) stands before her. He can't be more than 20. She knows those eyes.
