Hei had known there was something different about Jack Simon, he had pegged him as MI6 the day he met him, but somehow that hadn't convinced him to walk away. Now he was in over his head and involved with an enemy contractor -his conflict of interest interfering with his mission in Japan. He doubted he'd be able to keep up his work as BK-201 while keeping November from finding out his identity, but he'd do everything he could to try. -

After Havoc's death, Hei has his world upturned by MI6. He's forced to think on his feet and spawns a rather surprizing amendment to his cover story. It results in MI6 looking to recruit him, as a scientist, and November interested in him for more than just his brain. Soon both November and Hei will be forced to confront foes from their past, deal with threats in the present and hope there will be a future together.
