There had been a ghost in Gotham. He had seen it before. Just before the disappearance of Bruce. He could never forget what he saw that night. He was just a regular cop back then. He ran onto the scene, and something drew him into an ally near the bodies. He got yelled at after, but he knew what he saw. A sobbing child clutching onto a man made of shadows and yellow eyes and a little girl on fire tugged at his treanchcoat. He saw him, his yellow eyes shooting towards him almost fearfully. He shifted the young boy in his arms and held a finger to his lips before disappearing into the darkness. Jim was pulled away before he could do anything. Chewed out for moving from the scene.
Twenty years later he was still looking at that case file and wondering what that ghost was. Until one night at the circus… -

Tired of seeing his old friend parading around on television , and in all honesty . He missed him . And plans to try and reconnect .
