Summary
Rufus and the Turks have spent the better part of their lives breaking themselves apart piece by piece, a sacrificial requirement of the lives they lead. Together, they find a way to become whole again, though not unchanged, marked forever by the scars that bind them together.
This is a loose novelization of the full compilation material beginning before Before Crisis and spanning to the end of Advent Children, from the point of view of Rufus and his Turks - but predominantly Tseng and Rufus. Canon will not be strictly adhered to and some elements from remake will probably be incorporated.

And when the time was right, Rufus would strike. Toppling his father's reign and assume his rightful place with his Knight at his side.

Summary
Prolegomenon was a highly researched creative interpretation of what happened in the years between Vincent Valentine's death and the early years of Crisis Core. It was staged in the world known as Gaia, created for the Final Fantasy VII series. The creators of Prolegomenon strove for accuracy and canon, with twists only on what had not been directly written and presented in canon at the time, as well as addition of original characters and places to facilitate the story. This is a true archive, of a story dredged from the vaults.
The Tags are as exhaustive a list of triggers as I could make. Prolegomenon is at its core a Grimdark for the ages. Know that going in and be safe.

Summary
A year after the end of the Geostigma Crisis, Genesis Rhapsodos escapes from Shinra confinement and the Turks are deployed to stop him from reaching Midgar. They fail. They die.
