Luca, a cosmonaut born in a harsh soviet family and a kind of newbie to space, crashlands with his team on Planet 51, after failing to rescue an American astronaut in need, exactly the person he isn’t very fond with. Trying to get some help and an explanation, he finds himself in Glipforg, and the citizens are NOT happy to see him. Except for the handsome General Grawl, and Professor Kipple, of course.
To escape the invasive experiments Kipple still performs on humans, Luca has no other choice but to trust and take the hands of the well-respected general, his soon-to-be best friend and forbidden love.

Summary
Chuck has to leave Planet 51 once he's got his shuttle back. 15 minutes remain on the clock before he has to go, and he's said his goodbyes. However, he hesitates. The planet gave him quite the thrill and he met new friends, so to leave it so soon is a bit painful.
But he has to go. He offers for someone to come along, though.
And that someone ends up being the general.
When they get to Earth, Chuck's experience is replicated, but this time it's General Grawl going through it. Chuck has to keep Grawl safe as the general attempts to learn about Earth and its people. Naturally, they face hardships and dangers, and in the meanwhile, a new, complicated relationship begins to blossom.
