“Come on y’ slippery cunt- I just want t’ talk!” Xantos snarled.
“And you are going to extreme lengths to do that, I see!” Murray called back, his eyes locked on his feet as he moved along the fence like he was walking a tightrope. He glanced briefly over his shoulder, fixing Xantos with a glare. “Gods, you must be Errand,” he growled, “because you are such a fucking chore.”

Summary
"Never trust the Nords."
Those were the last words J'Hirra's mother ever told her before she died, far from the warm sands of their home.
J'Hirra never forgot, and she never forgave. Hardened by loss and betrayal, J'Hirra is determined to prove herself to the Nords and forge a name for herself in this land of ice and snow.
She never expected to find love with a broody Nord man, or true friendship with a blue Khajiit... or a vampire of all people.
The following journal entries chronicle her rise from a lowly whelp in the Companions to her destiny as the Dragonborn of legend.
This is the Tail of J'Hirra.

Summary
When Ragnar awakens bound on a cart rumbling toward Helgen, he remembers nothing—not his crime, not his past, not even his name. Surrounded by rebels, criminals, and the infamous Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak himself, Ragnar is thrust into a war-torn Skyrim in the flames of rebellion.
Condemned to die for a treason he doesn’t recall committing; Ragnar narrowly escapes execution when a dragon—long thought to be the stuff of legend—descends upon the town in flame and fury.
With the execution block smoldering behind him, a civil war brought to a stalemate, and the question of his identity gnawing at his soul, Ragnar embarks on a journey across the frozen heart of Tamriel’s north.
Pursued by agents of both Empire and rebel alike, hunted by dragons, and manipulated by powers both mortal and divine, Ragnar’s path is one of battle, betrayal, and brutal self-discovery. His journey takes him from the snow-choked peaks of the Throat of the World to the shadowed depths of Blackreach, from war councils to the haunts of ancient vampires.
And in the land of Skyrim, a forgotten name might just be the one fate remembers most.
Ragnar must rise—or die alone and forgotten in the snow. -

Summary

Summary
Peace in the north hangs on a knife’s edge. Skyrim licks its wounds almost a decade after the Great War, and opportunists pick and tug at the bare threads unravelling day by day, little by little. There's tension in the air, but that brings brave hearts desperate enough to try their luck. On the run, seeking fame or glory or vengeance, many finds themselves here but how many will end up being just more carrion for the crows?
This is a multi-POV work with a condensed timeline, no dragon cult, no Last Dragonborn. This is a story of northern life and politics, and damaged people and their struggles. Tags update per chapter.

Summary
Lydia has found a place and a family with the Companions of Whiterun, and all the glory and strength she could ask for--but there are downsides to turning into a wolf, and she has plenty of problems that can't easily be solved by swinging a blade. Problems like shield siblings who like to hunt first and ask questions later. Problems like an irritatingly attractive colleague/ex who (still) won't look her in the eye. Problems like an idiot Thane who disappeared on her to save the world, but still might need her help. What's a good house carl, who just wants to find her place in the world, supposed to do?

Summary
Cast out from her people for her crimes, the Forsworn Nemain somehow ends up in Helgen and meets the sworn enemy of her people, the man Madanach has sent her on a mission to kill: Ulfric Stormcloak.
Forsworn sympathizer, hater of Nords and remorseless killer, Nemain must decide what prejudices she will cling to, as she begrudgingly begins to respect the Bear of Markarth.
Can a heart once broken begin beating anew? Surely never for the man who slaughtered every man, woman and child of the Reach who stood against him.
Bitter and betrayed, this is the tale of Nemain the Dragonborn.
*Starts out canon compliant, and then goes into heavy AU territory. Lots of plot bunnies wreaking havoc: whatever happened to the Forsworn after the Cidna Mine incident? Is Ulfric Stormcloak merely a racist jingoistic dingleberry, or does he have 'layers'? And what if the Mage's Guild main quest didn't end there, but was blended with several Daedric quest storylines?
...and away we go.

Summary
[ON TEMPORARY HIATUS DUE TO DIFFERENT HYPERFIXATION]
Yasmen is a lone Redguard mercenary with a troubled past, who has travelled many lands, bested many warriors and scouted many marshes. She loves having just the weight of her blade and the warmth of her horse for company. For fifteen years, she has been more than happy living on small coin and words of gratitude.
Then of course, she takes a risk and suddenly everything is ruined. Or is it?[This fic is temporarily on hiatus because I am suffering a bad case of Game of Thrones hyperfixation and I physically cannot bring myself to write about anything but that. I will come back to it once my brain allows me to, and I do plan on finishing thsi fic. Could take a couple months though >< my apologies]
