Summary
As much as Robby told people he was an open book, he would never tell people about his personal life. I mean you could ask him, but the best you could get out of him is a change in subject or an off hand comment about how Abbott's bed was too soft for his back. Dana knew more about his life then he was probably comfortable with, but she understood Robby, and wouldn't let any of his secrets get out. Not even if you were to bribe her Perlah.
Abbot on the other hand will tell you about his life, if you asked him about it. But the problem with that was, you had to come up to Dr Jack Abbot, look him in the eyes, and ask about his personal life. And nobody in their right mind would do that. He looked too scary to approach. To be honest they thought of him as what Robby was actually like. But that's besides the point now. Because they were standing by the nurses station, talking in hushed tones, that not even Princess could pick up on. Based on the look on Jack's face, they were pretty sure it was a life or death conversation. And not about Dennis Whitaker.
Or: two old men pining for there mouse boy.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker was not a normal person, he was not a normal student, and he was certainly not a normal future doctor. He maintained a double identity; by day he was a medical student starting his rotations in the Pitt emergency room, and by nite he was the amazing Spider-Man, a newly appointed avenger by his mentor and boss Tony Stark.
Dennis could handle his two lives, he always could, he just didn't imagine that "El Pitt" would put him in situations where he couldn't manage his double identity. Nor did he imagine having his boss watching him all day and touching him all over the emergency room, making him anxious, unstable, and deeply in love.

Dennis Whitaker is Spider-Man and is about to have the worst or best months of his life at the Pitt, while trying not to be discovered by Robby, his boss, at the same time as not falling deeply in love with him.

Buck thought of Eddie. Hen. Chimney. Bobby. He thought of them all out to dinner together at this very moment while he bled in an alley. He thought of the silence, the coldness, the looks he’d been getting from them since getting back to work.
He wouldn't have hesitated for a second to call Eddie just a few months ago.
He swallowed hard, looking back up. “No. There’s no one to call. Thanks.”
“Are you sure? You’re bleeding,” the woman pointed at her own lip, as if Buck was unaware he was bleeding from his.
“Yeah. I’m sure.”
OR: Buck is on the outs with his team after dropping the lawsuit and coming back to work. A night out with a couple guys from B-shift changes everything.
