Summary
Fucking Whitaker. He has this thing about downplaying everything, and Trinity can’t stand it. First it was him being literally homeless described as “being in-between places,” then his semi-abusive dad “who did his best,” and now this "ex-boyfriend who wasn't nice to me".
It’s like he doesn’t want anyone to think he’s capable of being hurt.
__
Or: Ex-Amish Whitaker is taken advantage of during his early years after leaving the faith by someone manipulative. Years later, Dennis thinks he’s in the clear, but it all comes to a head when his stalker ex makes a sudden appearance. It'll take the entire Pitt department to help keep him safe.Series

Summary
Robby prefers the roof, but it's pouring out today, and the bathroom at least has a door that locks should anyone come all the way up here in search of them. Not that he's planning on getting up to anything that requires a locked door while he's in the workplace and on the clock, but it's still nice to know no one can burst in on them and no helicopters will interrupt.
“What did it for you this time?” Jack asks, crowding Robby against the sink once the door is closed and locked.
“You do it for me every time,” Robby says honestly, and he thinks Jack would roll his eyes if his face weren’t looking so incredibly fond.

Summary
Robby didn’t know why he felt this way — why his chest felt hollow, why his own reflection looked like someone else’s. He wasn’t Hamlet, though some days it felt like he carried that same quiet tragedy, heavy and unspoken. He wasn’t Ponyboy Curtis either, not really, though the world still burned around him in ways he couldn’t control.
No… he felt like Gatsby.
Gatsby, standing on the edge of everything, reaching for something just out of grasp. Gatsby, longing not for Daisy — but for Tom. And maybe, if Gatsby had reached out a little sooner… held on a little longer… maybe the ending would have been different.
But Tom had Daisy.
And Gatsby had a bullet in his back.
Robby swallowed hard against the thought, knowing it didn’t change anything. Because no matter how much he tried, no matter how long he reached, Jack was always just out of reach — like a green light across the bay, forever burning, forever distant. -

Summary
“How are you not dreading the next eighteen hours?” he asks around his toothbrush, then spits into the sink. “It’s gonna be like St. Patrick’s Day all over again.”
Trinity leans against the door frame as she twirls her keys around her index finger. “Exactly,” she confirms. “St. Patrick’s Day plus fireworks. Fucked up hands, fingers flying everywhere… it’s gonna be gruesome as hell,” she sing-songs.
Whitaker tosses the brush into its holder with a heavy sigh. “I’d personally prefer that nobody got hurt, but—”
“Oh come on, where’s your whimsy?” Trinity nags. “If nobody got hurt, we wouldn’t have jobs. We’re simply taking people’s lemons and making very bloody lemonade.”
He blinks at her. “Do you hear yourself?”
“Yeah. Why?”

Summary
Kat Sparks is a paramedic. Her cool demeanor, accurate assessments and unorthodox treatments catch Robby's attention first then Jack's. It doesn't hurt that she's stunning. But they can't be distracted by her when they have been not so patiently waiting for their third soulmate. The name that's been scrawled across Robby's ribs and Jack's thigh forever. But damn is she tempting.
This fic depicts a three-way soulmate bond between two males and one female. If this will bother you do not read.
I do not even pretend this is close to medically accurate.

Summary
Dr. Jack Abbot was an asshole.
Objectively, one of the most talented, competent physicians at PTMC. Begrudgingly, also one of the most handsome. But, categorically, an asshole.
__After the PittFest MCI, Samira is left to process everything she just went through, including the closeness she felt with Jack Abbot. When Abbot asks her to shadow him on the night shift, the weeks that follow are a test of strength for both Jack and Samira as they navigate their complex, evolving feelings for each other.
Or
That part of her that was going to sabotage everything really, really wanted to call Abbot right now.

Summary
She stands frozen just outside of Robby’s periphery, so Jack sees her first, head lazily turning to face her, unaware of the havoc wreaked by his unexpected appearance. Helpless, she watches as he, too, processes the impossibility of her in this context, as his brain tries to make sense of what is in front of him. There is a subtle widening of his eyes as they track over her face and her body, a parting of his lips, like he might say something.
No, wracks through her brain, no no no. And maybe he can see the word in her expression, in the stiffening of her posture, or maybe he can still read her mind. Because after a moment, his face carefully contorts back into polite blankness, a sharp relief to the panic she is sure is still etched onto her face.
