    Colin’s fingers twitch. He shifts his weight from foot to foot. He’s been waiting for several minutes and he’s only getting more anxious. If only he could see her. He sighs dramatically.

    “Your wife?” asks the customs officer.

    Colin nods, eyes still searching for any glimpse of his friend, before realising that that isn’t correct. “I mean… no…” he mutters quietly.

    We’re in Fiji, he reminds himself. They’re a very friendly people. She’ll be fine.

    He still cannot see Penelope but he has a clear view of the customs officer, wearing plastic gloves and raised eyebrows, as he reaches into Penelope’s suitcase and pulls out the biggest dildo Colin has ever seen.

    I was so excited to see that Bridgerton Season 4 has another carriage scene with Colin and Penelope. The scene was over too quickly, so this is my reimagined vision of carriage scene 2.0 and what led up to it. I incorporated some of the dialogue from the show to fill out the scene.

Colin does not expect to resume their marital activities until later when they are safely ensconced back in their carriage and headed home.
