Julius fucked up 💀💀💀💀💀💀[Julius looks relaxed, but Subaru has learned enough about… not him. About this version of him, the one who doesn’t remember — that very premise made the previous loops fail. This Julius cannot be treated as a friend.
Let’s call him… Juli. A disgusting twin with a familiar face and voice. The real Julius would punch him for treating his comrade like this. God, Subaru would pay dearly to see Julius beating himself up.]
[“I don’t know what you thought,” he blurts before Juli can speak, and lies brightly, passionately: “but I couldn’t care less about your pathetic feelings.”
Juli stops and frowns, but Subaru continues, not giving him time to think:
“Does it hurt? Not my problem,” he hisses, somewhere deep down enjoying the way Julius’s jaw tightens. “All I care about is whether you can follow my plan. If someone in your group is going to break down crying because I asked a simple question…”
Subaru cuts himself off—to breathe—but plays it as a deliberate pause, smiling brightly, mockingly.
“…then you’re below my level, and we should turn around and go back.”]
