Dying has always been a odd concept for The One Who Waits, So the lamb trying to off him was surprising.
But powers he'd only ever had been able to grasp at awakening took the cake in his opinion.
Now he had a fair chance at revenge with his own hands and he was going to hold tight until all was set right.

Long ago, before The One Who Waits was imprisoned, his name was Narinder, 5th Bishop of the Old Faith. Taking Shamura's advice, Narinder decide to keep a journal about a special mortal he met, a cat named Forneus. This is his account of how Narinder fell from grace, and fell hopelessly in love.
