The boy'd been driving John to distraction all night and he knew it was purposeful, the way he teased Leary about the girl in the window until he was fairly panting, the way he planted a kiss on him over his hand and fell over laughing at the way Leary spluttered and swore. The way his bright blue eyes landed on John to make sure he was watching.
Of course he was watching. When the kid was around, John couldn't keep his eyes off him.
What happened after the scene where Lightfoot kissed Leary.
