Summary
He reached out, his hand hovering in the air for a second, before he gently, hesitantly, placed it on Seungmin's shoulder. The touch was light, a question, not an answer.
"We need to fix this," Chan said, his voice low and earnest. "We have to. We can't… we can't go on like this."
"I know," Seungmin whispered.
Chan’s fingers tightened slightly on his shoulder. "I missed you, Seungmin-ah. I miss my friend."
Seungmin missed him, too. He missed him so much it was a physical ache.
"I missed you too, hyung," he choked out.
After Chan starts dating someone else, Seungmin does what he does best: swallows it down and pretends he’s fine. But Chan has never been good at letting him go quietly.
It wasn’t supposed to be unrequited. It wasn’t supposed to hurt like this.

“It’s okay to be a late bloomer” Minho said immediately, firm but gentle. “There’s nothing wrong with that.”
Seungmin laughed weakly. “It’s easy for you to say, everyone loves you! You can get any alpha, beta or omega you want without even trying.”
“Minnie, that doesn’t mean that people wouldn’t want to be with you, a lot of people would.”
“That’s not true” Seungmin said wiping angrily at his cheeks. “People think that being unpresented at my age is like a disease. Like there’s something wrong with me.”
Or: Seungmin is desperately in love with his alpha roommate that seems to care deeply for him, just not in a romantic way. Unpresented and convinced he’s unlovable, he believes his feelings for Minho are destined to remain one-sided, no matter how close they are.

Summary
“You wanna tell ‘em what happened yesterday?” Chan encourages, nudging at him from where he stands behind Seungmin, hand splayed over his lower back. Seungmin shrugs, rocking back and forth on his heels.
“I just got too stressed,” he admits. “And I didn’t know how to get rid of it.”
He leaves out the part with Changbin—he’s still embarrassed about it.
“You can all stop worrying about me. I talked with hyung about what to do the next time it gets to that point and I’m fine now,” He tells them, eyes flicking from each face. “I just want things to go back to normal and for you guys to not treat me like I’m a piece of glass just because I didn’t know how to express my emotions correctly.”
