Summary
Almost one year after the conclusion of the Paranormal Liberation War, Ochako Uraraka is haunted by Himiko Toga’s death and trying to honour her sacrifice by working harder, doing more, being better.
Hawks surprises Ochako when he finds a quirk user who can capture and broadcast her and Himiko’s fight, to finally allow Japan and the world to see all that occurred between them, including Himiko’s sacrifice.
What Ochako doesn’t know is this is one step in a much larger plan, a plan that Hawks and Principal Nezu have been working on since Hawks made a fateful, impulsive decision as Ochako was being airlifted away from the battle at Gunga.

Really excellent premise and storytelling—lots of different plot threads that are woven together extremely well! A standout fic for anyone who loves Himiko and just wants this girl to live her best life and be happy 🥺 It will mess with your emotions, but it is very worth it. A beautiful reimagining of what Himiko's life could have been had she found love and been given the chance she deserved.
