Summary

Summary
Akira Kurusu, former member of SEES, current Shadow Operative, is sent by his boss, Mitsuru Kirijo to investigate the oddly timed death of Wakaba Isshiki, as well as a growing number of those struck by an odd condition dubbed 'Mental Shutdowns'. Could this have to do with the cases of Apathy Syndrome they'd all dealt with 7 years ago? Or with what that strange figure Igor had foreshadowed, in that odd room only him and the twins could ever get into?
Pretty much a P5 fanfic of Akira having joined SEES during the events of P3. In this fic, Minako is alive and well, with her twin brother Minato serving as the seal for Nyx.

Makoto bites her lip. She’s been toying with a suggestion, but she doesn’t know how much she likes it. Hopping into Mementos to change the heart of strangers they read about on the Phansite is one thing. These are people who they know are struggling, who are usually grateful after the fact—but it feels weirder doing it to someone they know. Even staring down the prospect of changing Sae’s heart hadn’t felt so weird and out of pocket—maybe because Akira is their leader?
