Summary
After the factory collapses, the bits and pieces that remain of Doey find themselves carried through pipes and underground rivers until he eventually ends up in an unassuming creek bed. The sound of an argument wakes him from his semi-conscious state and he steps in to help you fend off a rude neighbor.
It's a second chance for Doey, and he doesn't want to squander it. He'll be your protector, your helper, whatever you need. He knows the truth of what happened to him would break your heart. Maybe Poppy had a point about it staying buried and forgotten forever.
Meanwhile, you can't help but wonder what happened to the poor, sweet guy to make him think he's so unworthy.

Summary
The ruler of the neighboring kingdom to yours has recommended finding a jester. Although you do not truly see the need to have one for personal amusement, you do need entertainment for your various meetings and gatherings. Building a kingdom from the ground up is exhausting work, so perhaps it will be nice.
It started, as most things with royalty do, with something far more dramatic than it needed to be.
