Summary
In an alternate timeline, a young Giyuu Tomioka is sent to a forgotten village to eliminate a demon that has been hunting in the region. Unbeknownst to him, this demon is the same one that would later turn Shizu—Sanemi's mother— into a demon. By stopping the demon, Giyuu changes the fate of the Shinazugawa family. In gratitude, Shizu invites him into her home, unaware that this small gesture will save many lives... and leave a mark on the heart of the future Wind Pillar.

Summary
En una línea alterna del tiempo, el joven Giyuu Tomioka es enviado a un pueblo olvidado para eliminar a un demonio que ha estado cazando en la región. Sin saberlo, este demonio es el mismo que, en el futuro, convertiría a Shizu —la madre de Sanemi— en un demonio. Al detenerlo antes de tiempo, Giyuu cambia el destino de la familia Shinazugawa. En agradecimiento, Shizu lo invita a su hogar, sin saber que ese pequeño gesto salvará muchas vidas... y dejará una huella en el corazón del futuro pilar del viento.
