They return to earth to seek their revenge on the ones who took Maria from Shadow, even though Shadow's memories of her are faint and dim. No matter, they'll conquer this planet like they've done to hundreds of others. Or, they would, if Shadow could just beat this snarky blue rat! What makes Sonic so strong and why does Shadow's body shiver with excitement every time they fight?

    Starting with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle as a guideline, the Ablaze AU ask what if Shadow was raised by Black Doom, but was a little less brooding and little more flirty?
