“Well, I don’t plan on killing you today,” Achilles says dryly, and reaches down a hand. “Break time, then? I don’t want to push you past your limits.”
Zagreus stills, that phrase bringing him up short. He slowly sits back on his heels and regards Achilles seriously, his cheeks warming as he considers - not for the first time - the idea of being pushed.
“Okay,” he says carefully, shifting a little on his knees. “Okay, but um, maybe...maybe I want that.”
Achilles raises an eyebrow.
