(Disclaimer: While there will be romance, the forefront of the fic will be the family dynamics of the Straw Hats. Romance will be a slowwwww build up as Nelu explores the Grand Line and meets all these fine AF guys. It'll take time, but Nelu WILL meet all the guy pairings listed in the fic.)

Summary
Luffy wasn't Roger's child, and she wasn't a revolutionary, either. She was the granddaughter of a marine, grew up on an island in the middle of the weakest sea, and couldn't think anything through. She wasn't Ace, with his brash drive to prove himself, and she wasn't Sabo, with his wit, and she didn't have the snark of either of them. Still, though, she was larger than life in her own way.
Luffy smiled brighter than the sun, and her heart was bigger than a giants, and she only ever saw things for how they were. She had saved Ace when he needed her, and she never let Sabo live thinking he didn't have a family, and if there was anyone who could become the Pirate King, Shanks thought it would be her. Hopefully, Roger would be proud of the person he bet the future on.
Or: Luffy's now the older sibling, and a few things change because of it

Perhaps there was something about the Skywalkers that drove them to find Jedi in need of shelter from sandstorms and bring them home, pushing the Jedi to free them from slavery and take them far away.
The only difference between Anakin and Shmi was that Anakin had gone somewhere else and Shmi was going to join him
