Summary

Summary
When you take the stripes off, what's there underneath?
Holy shit, my fourth ted talk to the fandom about why Aocorro should float.
We finally get to see Spider's perspective, and it hurt me a little writing this. I hope I wrote it well enough to convey the lens I want the audience to see Spider through. It's a little different than most takes on Spider. But I think it's worth a look. Please keep an open mind until you get to the end and send feedback.

Summary
He doesn't have the right to complain. Or to beg for forgiveness. He chose this. He demanded this. This was all his decision. Spider had done nothing but respect his wishes. He can't ask Spider to let him back in, or to call him brother. But Spider remembered the small things about him. Spider cared enough to noticed the things he hid. Neteyam has earned his hostility.

A boy, sky people in body, Na’vi in spirit, who gets lost far from home and outwits said queen in a rigged game.
Is it a miracle? A gift? Either way, Varang is intent on keeping him, and Spider is intent on escaping.

Summary
Spider always knew he didn't belong. Too Navi for the humans, and too human for the Navi. He never fit in and most likely never will and he's accepted that, but why does it hurt so much to see Lo'ak being encouraged by his father when he caught his first fish or when Kiri hurt her knee and was fussed over by her mother for the rest of the day. He knew he wasn't a part of their family; no matter how much he wanted to be one of them. He had finally accepted that. That doesn't mean it hurts any less. Now that he's back with them in the Metkayina village and feels as though he shouldn't intrude on the family's mourning he's decided to give them space. He was the one that killed Neteyam, he came back for him and he was killed for that mistake, and to make it better spider saved the man that caused this.
OR
Spider starts to distance himself from the Sullys and they start to take notice. Spider's trauma and guilt come to the surface and all jake can do is watch his child self-destruct. Jake will try all he can to show Spider this is his family..but is it too late?
