Summary
Derek has been in a lot of bad situations. This one easily makes the top five. Or would, if Dean and Sam Winchester were actually acting like the sadistic psychopaths he expected them to be. Instead, Dean is referencing Star Trek, Sam is comforting Reid, and Derek has never been more confused.

Summary
John is fed up with Sam's recent attitude problems. He decides to send him to Mark Reed, a seasoned hunter known for training youths, getting them into shape, and helping to take care of their behavioral issues. His methods are a little bit... unconventional, however, leaving Sam shaped up, but bent a bit out of shape in the process.

“It’s not right,” Sam says.
Dean keeps his hands tight on the steering wheel. He doesn’t look at Sam.
“If you’re gonna tell me I’m a disgrace to the Winchester name,” he says finally, his voice light, “then you’ll have to get in line. Dad’s been telling me that ever since he caught me out back with Will Hutchings in the summer of ‘99.”

Summary
Sam was acting different. Even more so than his usual weird, geeky self. Dean watched him with tight eyes, hunched over the side of the lumpy motel bed. This morning, Sam had asked for Lucky Charms. Not avocado toast, or oatmeal, or whatever health food crap he regularly consumed. Dean looked at him like he had just sprouted another head and laid eggs, and Sam just looked back with those big brown eyes.
Aka: Sam regresses and daddy! Dean takes care of him.
