The king rarely granted the special honor of an audience to selected individuals. Therefore, it was almost unthinkable that there was anyone who regularly interacted with His Majesty. Not many knew about it and even fewer believed it. Even the royal guard was divided on this point.
The only unusual thing about the room was the ceiling. It didn't seem to exist, instead it always showed a starry night sky. When Ichigo once asked the king about it, he had only shown a slight smile and had since remained indebted to him for an answer.
