Summary
Ilya tells GQ magazine that he wants to be married and have two kids, five dogs, and four Stanley Cups in ten years. Oh, and he wants to play for the Metros.
Shane is totally normal and not weird about it at all.
(He’s so weird about it.)

Summary
As much as he doesn’t want to talk to Keith, Lance isn’t stupid. Better to look like a paranoid idiot than get the two of them caught with their guards down. He reaches up to toggle his comm back on. It’s as easy as that, falling back to relying on Keith even when he’s ticked at him. At the end of the day, Keith’s saved his butt plenty of times. His annoying face and his lousy attitude don’t outweigh the skills he has.
“Hey, so,” he murmurs into his helmet, “maybe it’s nothing, but I just heard something near me.”

Summary
Keith is pretty sure he’s actually breathing in water. The air is so humid he’s not sure there’s actually any air in it, and he is sticky.
Lance is already frolicking around like a nature fairy. He tugs off his jacket, tying it around his waist, but other than that he seems to revel in the humidity, breathing in deeply like he’s used to inhaling what is essentially gasified mist instead of air. He grins at the greenery like it’s familiar, despite the fact that they’ve never even glanced at this entire quadrant the entire time they’ve been in space, let alone this planet.
“You live to thrive wherever I do not,” Keith mutters, irrationally angry at Lance’s lack of suffering. He scowls at his back and says, louder, “We have a mission.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Lance dismisses, still in the trance-like glee. He twirls around to face a huge, fern like plant, reaching up to caress the leaves and pet the back of a beetle. “You and I both know it’s busywork.“
“Yeah, well, it’s an official mission and we’re Paladins of Voltron, so. Personally I take that pretty seriously.”

Summary
The air punches right out of Lance’s lungs, and the last of his worries with it. Keith tucks a curl behind his ear, lingering.
“Go shower and get dressed,” he urges, indigo eyes dark and imploring. “Let me help.”
“Okay,” Lance breathes. He doesn’t move.
Keith smiles. He pulls Lance’s face down at the same time that he stands up on his tiptoes, eyes fluttering shut. Their lips press together softly, one, two, three, and then he pulls away.
Lance makes a noise in the back of his throat. His fingers come up to brush the swell of his lip. “What was that for?”
Keith’s eyes flick up at the doorway. Amusement dances across his expression.
Mistletoe, green and white and fragrant, hangs delicately from the door frame.

Summary
“Lance,” Keith tries again. “What’s up? If you want to go to a stall you can say so, you know. You don’t have to just look around until I guess what you’re thinking.”
Lance doesn’t take the bait, which is worrying. Usually Keith has no trouble riling him up even playfully.
Lance mumbles something, standing on his tiptoes and leaning to try and look over the crowd. (Fat chance. The Megel people are tall as all hell. Even Hunk barely passes their shoulders.)
“What? You’re mumbling.”
“I think she’s lost.”
