Summary
Bella was wandering through the forest, idly tailing a herd of deer that would lose a member to her thirst in the next couple of days. She didn’t mind hunting this slowly. It wasn’t like she had anything more interesting to do. And if she followed this herd of deer she might find new places in this forest. Nothing better to do, really. She had just reached her fist half-century as a vampire and that meant she had been on this earth for about seventy odd years. And already she felt bored and lonely. Still, she didn’t leave her little patch of heaven. Her part of the forest. A small space, for a vampire, who could move faster than any other living thing on this earth.

“I- What?” Harry’s face was the picture of bewilderment following her question. Apparently not, Minerva thought drily.
"That’s – I could do that?” Harry asked. He seemed like he truly hadn’t considered coming back.
“Of course you can.” Minerva answered. “Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.” It was his home, she knew. However much she regretted leaving him with his despicable relatives, there wasn’t anything she could do about that now. What she could do was help him in any way possible, and that included giving him a place at Hogwarts.~ Five times Minerva helped Harry and one time he returned the favour.

Starts in New Moon. Leah pulls Bella out of her depression and the two of them shake the story up a lot. Bella and Leah are both reeling from their respective breakups and learn that they don't need anybody else to be happy, because they are enough themselves.
Story is not as sappy as the summary suggests. I'm just bad at summaries I guess.
