Scylla frowned, his expression turning confused. “What? The father of the child, isn’t he your husband? You are not married yet?”
Neuvillette sighed shakily. “We are not even engaged, I am afraid.” This also was an understatement. Neuvillette wasn’t quite sure what to call his relationship with Wriothesley right now.
His answer was a grave mistake. Scylla looked absolutely appalled. He exclaimed loudly, his voice sounding angry; “This is outrageous! My Sovereign is not to be treated as a common whore! Where is he?!”
