Tumbled out of his chair, Sanji lay sprawled on the floor and stared, slack-jawed, at Chopper. The reverberating silence dragged out for too long, it seemed, because Chopper drew in a deep breath and began again.
“I said ar–”
“I heard you.” Sanji pushed himself shakily to his feet. “I think everyone heard you. Why would you even ask–”
“There’s a condition… called Hanahaki Syndrome…?”

Sanji steps out for a smoke behind his bar. A stranger runs into his alley, chased by sirens, fists bloodied, silver eyes wild with fear he's trying to disguise as fury. Sanji kisses him to hide them both.
He doesn't expect the stranger to kiss back.
He doesn't expect to give him a key.
He doesn't expect Zoro to stay.
Or: A slow-burn hurt/comfort fic where Sanji teaches a runaway gang member that kindness isn't conditional, that safewords aren't failures, and that running isn't the only way to survive.

As much as Sanji was in love with Zoro, he was going to break up with him.
After so many fights, arguments, denial, a death pact, and unresolved sexual tension, they were finally together, and anyone could believe they were the perfect match.
Why?
Well, because even though they still argued a lot and their competitiveness hadn’t decreased one bit, they were more in sync than ever. They were clearly complementary, equally strong, respected each other, and trusted each other above all else—and sometimes it even felt like they could read each other’s minds.
Kuroashi no Sanji and Roronoa Zoro were the perfect pair of wings for Monkey D. Luffy, the future Pirate King. So why wouldn’t they be the perfect romantic pair?
Simple:
Because they couldn’t fuck.Or: Sanji and Zoro receive an unexpected visit from their future selves — 20 years older — who have come back in time to teach them how to have sex with each other, so they don’t make the biggest mistake of their lives: ending their relationship.
