When Lucy agrees to go and look for some woman's missing husband, Cooper knows he's in for a day - what he doesn't expect though, is to be shot, stabbed, and end up in a ghoul-infested horror show of a hospital. When Lucy gets it in her do-gooder, golden little heart that they're helping someone though...well he knows there's no point fightin'. He'll just go along and try and keep the whole lot of them alive.
And if he's feelin' adventurous, try and process his emotions at the same time.

She took in the state of them, the bloody tissue hanging out of Jamie’s nose while he was pinching off the bleeding, blue hoodie stained in a way that would probably never come out, Roy’s torn shirt, the scratches on his chest and the small gash on his forehead.“Fucking hell,” she groaned already imagining herself back on her couch wrapped in blankets with Randy and the brides instead of whatever these two were bringing her.
“He’s fine,” Roy said as if Jamie’s nose wasn’t still filling the tissue plugging it up.
She noticed the dried blood also staining Roy’s mouth and crusting up in his beard, but she couldn’t see any wounds on him that would result in that much blood covering his face. For a second she wondered if it could have been Jamie’s, but the placement didn’t make that seem likely.
Unless the two of them stopped bashing each other bloody long enough to snog a bit.

"Good?" Trent asks, watching him carefully.
Ted grins, his voice deliberately light. "Dunno yet. Feels a little like bein’ examined at the doctor’s office, if I’m bein’ honest."
Trent rolls his eyes, exasperated and fond all at once. "Christ, Ted."
"Aw, c’mon, darlin’, don’t look at me like that—oh—"
Ted’s breath stutters.
His expression shifts.
And Trent—oh.
He found it.
