The bathroom door opened, and Jimin’s head snapped toward it. Yoongi waddled out, hair sticking out in odd angles, towel draped across his shoulders. Jimin’s heart swelled, then quickly deflated. He braced himself for the oncoming rejection.
“Come, sit,” Jimin motioned to the floor in front of him. “I’ll dry your hair.” Yoongi did as he was told. He sank to the ground and waited. Jimin took the towel and gently rubbed it against Yoongi’s hair.
“Jimin,” Yoongi started. “I’m so sorry.” Jimin’s hands stilled.
“It’s okay,” Jimin choked out. “You can’t choose who you love.”
