“A horse is not your style,” Ennaly said, keeping her voice casual, trying to ignore this new feeling inside her, as Solas supported her. “A halla, perhaps?”
“How about a wyvern?”
“No – I know, a wolf!” Ennaly decided.
“A wolf?” Solas repeated, surprised.
“Yes, that’s more your style. Isn’t that what you’re wearing around your neck, the jawbone?”
A few seconds passed before he replied. “That is true.”
She smiled to herself at his almost reluctant confirmation. “So, we agree. A wolf, then.”***
After initially dismissing him as too proud, Ennaly slowly grows closer towards Solas, and for a moment… he seems interested. But when a spark starts to grow in her, he seems to disregard her again. Wasn't he here to help her understand everything more instead of less? If only Solas was more in tune with her.(Or, a re-interpretation that extends the canon and fills in the gaps.)
