Summary
In one universe Prince Daemon Targaryen and Lady Rhea Royce despise one another so much that they refuse to ever consummate their marriage- leading to Prince Daemon setting his aims upon his niece Rhaenyra Targaryen. In another, the prince and lady feel slightly more bound by duty and fumble through their wedding night and conceive a daughter- this daughter takes after her father and decides that she must have her beloved cousin, and her perhaps her pretty little lady-in-waiting as well.

There was so much she still had to say. About Steve, about her parents, about the humdrum suburban life she thought she was avoiding. Most of the time, Robin did the speaking for both of them. Nancy accepted this, both because of the insight it gave into the woman that she loved, and because it meant that she could hide. Her fears didn’t exist until they were spoken out loud, and she was content to keep silent. Let Robin do the worrying for both of them. She still wrote letters, sometimes, recounting everything that stuck in her throat, and she still burned them.

Summary
Din makes it to the Living Waters of Mandalore with Grogu and walks in. He drops down into the water, and ends up in the Hobbit/LOTR universe. He comes to the rationalization that this is a hallucination/test to prove himself worthy of being Mandalorian. He dismisses the oddness of this world as uniqueness of the test, and vigorously follows the Mandalorian beliefs despite any opposition or attention it brings (to prove himself in the “test”). He comes across Gandalf, is roped into a quest to restore the homeland of the Dwarfs (now feeling certain that all of it is a hallucination test, given the closeness to his own people’s situation) and decides to travel with them.

“He’s dying, Rhaenyra.” Daemon’s voice was cold and detached once he finally spoke, the dread that filled his being oozing into the room from his words. They had returned to Kings Landing only the day before and the air was thick and hot from tension.
“No. You’re wrong. The maester said-”
“They are wrong. He is dying and as we speak Otto Hightower is plotting to put a 2 year old babe on the Iron Throne.” He snarled at her. His voice held no patience for her as it normally did.
“He will recover.” Rhaenyra said weakly. Tears stung her eyes and all of her childhood fears bubbled to the surface. “He can’t die uncle. He is the King!”

Summary
King Robert I Baratheon had a mountain of regrets in his final moments. It took dying to lift the veil from his eyes so he could really see what he had become. He did not know what to expect of the afterlife, but he most certainly did not think he would be charged by the gods, old and new, to go back and fix the mess he had created and to prepare the coming darkness.
